     Not sure anyone i ever met carried a gun to show off. In fact most people who carry do so concealed so you would never know.

     In my case i dont conceal for three reasons

     1) im a fatty and so conceal carry is exceptionally uncomfortable for me.

     2) i wear my shirt touched in so conceal carry in the waist wouldnt work anyway.

     3) i feel open carry is better for the community by acting as a visual deterrant to criminals and by allowing the community to see guns and normalize them.

     That said while i do carry due to a specific need and risk on my life at the moment i do feel that carrying and owning guns is the most responsible choice for most able bodies adults.
