   @GossiTheDog partially, last I heard wasn’t there a chunk of instances swearing to defederate threads on sight/preemptively?

   I mean I assume there will be a dropping shoe, but I do feel like they should get a chance.

     Replies to Threads posts (those selected few that are allowed to clone their posts to Mastodon) never propagate back over to the original on Threads"

     At 5:05 pm PDT he still hasn't seen it or replied, and my reply hasn't propagated back over to his original post on Threads

     It's the usage of "federated" that digs

     Posts from Threads -- (for the few that are even allowed, my List is up to 16 I think) are "federated" onto Mastodon only in the sense that they are cloned images

     They aren't live in any "federated" sense
