     @roboneko Those came way later in the 2000s though, the other things of the day like myspace just sort of died before even turning 10 years old. and there were precedents before that obviously which indicated things like that could go up and down.

     @kirby not at all. but those stuck around. also google. I think most stuff still dies out. it's the rare exception that sticks around but over time those exceptions build up
