   @supersid333 @DrRyanSkelton @MoeBritannica plus some stuff that was in gameplay, like pretty much half of vergil's moveset, was eventually brought into the main series and then nero gets a hairstyle like donte's as well in dmc 5
   it's like completely different teams were doing the writing and the plot and the gameplay

     @DrRyanSkelton @MoeBritannica DmC is a weird game in all honesty. The creator seemed to regard everything DMC was in scorn and yet the game is also just constantly full of little nods to DMC proper, like how every achievement in that game is a quote from the proper series.
