if you aren't making more than like 1000$/mo on something there should be zero legal requirement to pay taxes or have a "business" license or any of that bs. even if its your main source of income. let hustler hustle god damn it

@nhk business licenses aren't expensive though. its like 40-70$ for a doing business as form and then the articles of incorporation are lik 200$ depending on which one you file as. those are one-off fees.
LLCs are kinda stupid though they cost more because they used to be exempt from corporation tax and then the state taxed them anyway but never lowered the price. never register an LLC.

@nhk in places like texas you can just do stuff and you are treated as a sole proprietorship automatically. but you wanna not do this because if you serve a bad taco somebody can sue you for your house. that's why you want to stop being a sole proprieter ASAP
i dunno about shittier neoliberal states.
