     The fitness stats are really good, but I also like the reminders and notifications and taking calls and texts. It's just more convenient for some stuff.

     If you're considering an apple product, expect future support to be limited. IOS updates are used to cripple device capability.

     The problem ends up being device compatibility. A 5yr support window can be very different when comparing phones and wearable devices. It's very possible to end up with a wearable that has as little as 2-3yrs support... due to a phone that's a couple years old.
