@dillera @foo8ar @paulrickards first thing is to verify that it can connect to AIR. As I’m not part of the community I’m waiting for getting into the warmth. Who would acknowledge my application I did yesterday?
@foo8ar @paulrickards You have reached my limits. I was thinking if someone runs a cisco router that has all the nodes in it for #Globaltalk and can support the traffic (it's small I'm thinking) then they run the routing and everyone else just has the one entry into their router in the IP Define.
Or am I oversimplifying it?
@paulrickards @foo8ar @dillera sure, the question is the framing. cisco either does it over GRE or “GatorBox” style.
@dillera I’m definitely up for the Cisco track. Where do we start? I have several of them with ios (!) that supports AppleTalk.
Three questions for #MARCHintosh going into this third weekend:
1. How to name an ImageWriter2 on AppleTalk?
2. Is sharing setup the only way to name your Mac? (Sys7.5)
3. Who is going to get an old Cisco router and do the #Globaltalk core routing so everyone just has to connect to that one address and make this much easier?
