     @hj loading the brotkast FE on my phone takes 10 seconds, each refresh takes 4 seconds.
     
     this is not an Akkoma thing though. the SPC FE is completely unusable for me on mobile.

     @kaia each refresh? Have you tried just "installing" it? That's what I do and it barely does any hard refreshes.
     
     Still, 4-10 second refreshes... What's your hardware? What's wrong with SPC's one that makes it worse?

     installing was a good idea, but it did not change speeds at all.
     
     loading your Known Network takes 18 seconds until it's done completely on mobile. I'm using Mull browser on an old Samsung Galaxy phone (dunno which model)
     
     on Husky to compare it takes 2 seconds to load the Home timeline

     @hj just to compare, if I do it on the desktop PC, your instance loads in under 2s completely. so it's not the internet, just the old phone presumably :ChenShrug:

     on Brave loading your FE takes ~6s, so definitely much better than Mull. I don't have another Chome-based browser on the phone.

     @kaia my own twkn loads under 2s, benchmarking themes 3.0 shown that phone is twice slower than my PC. Phone is Fairphone 4 running rooted /e/os. I've been using pleromafe on mobile for so long I literally can't remember las time I used husky or any clients. @shpuld been doing for even longer. Previously used it on xperia xz3 I think and worked fine there too. Bigger discomfort always been the UI scale, never had any speed complaints.

     Exactly! And with a tiny bit of extra effort I have even made it look good. My only gripe about it is that it seems to load backend a bit more — I don't have much to spare in this department. Shouldn't be a concern for everybody else 🤷
