      2020年12月、ニューヨーク・タイムズが「Pornhubは投稿された児童ポルノやリベンジポルノから収入を得ている」という記事を掲載したことを受け、大手クレジットカードブランドのVisaとMastercardがPornhubにおける決済処理を停止する事態になりました。新たに2022年7月29日、アメリカ・カリフォルニア州の連邦判事がPornhubの運営企業・MindGeekと児童ポルノに関連する訴訟に関連し、「VisaはMindGeekによる児童ポルノの収益化を意図的に支援したと推測できる」という(PDFファイル)裁定を下しました。
