   @fentiger @helge We can use custom URI scheme instead of DID URLs. I included this option in the proposal:

   However, my URL library doesn't parse it at all and says that z6Mk... is not a valid port number.

     @Helge Your suggestion of did://key:1234567/path would have the upside of being compatible with Go's url.String() function, which also turns out to be unable to process did: URLs with paths.
     
     My #BangHeadHere sign is taking a bit of a battering today...
