   It's OK to like the engineering of space X without agreeing with the personal politics of Elon Musk.
   If every inventor in the world had to pass an ideological purity test, we'd still be struggling with taming fire.
   It's when we start projecting "the engineering is good so the politics have to be good" we get in trouble.

     Reminder to the folks ragging on SpaceX because "Elon Musk is a Nazi" and asking why private corporations are doing this space stuff: the Apollo program was led by former SS-Sturmbannführer Wernher von Braun. It's almost like Space Nazis are a recurring trope in this time line!

     (Fn: Von Braun claimed—after the war—that he only joined the NSDAP because he'd be booted from the German rocketry program if he didn't. Musk has no such excuse, however ...)
