     @KatM @TheJen yeah, the excuse of the reply guy is a little too much of fainting couches and fragile egos.

     i left over 20 thousand followers on Twitter because they have my account not only shadow banned but every time i would hit 30k followers, i’d lose from 5k to 10k. this was BEFORE Apartheidboi took over. they were blocking any follower growth.

     i won't trust corporate social media ever again. when am finally done with cancer therapy, am getting my own fediverse server.

     @TheJen I’m noticing that lots of people left in the past month or so - especially those who once had big Twitter followings, like Teri. I suspect they bounced to BlueSky once it opened up.

     Reply guys exist everywhere, not just here. We’re all free to block/mute and move on. If that’s a reason for leaving Mastodon for BlueSky, I’ve got news for them… it isn’t better over there in a corporate-run ecosystem. If they bounce entirely out of social media, that’s an understandably different choice.
