@AllStatesAreBad Perhaps it would be good to distinguish someone with anarchist perspectives or philosophy (eg. 'the state is the ultimate enemy') and people with anarchist prescriptions.

I feel uncomfortable with things said against anarchists and it reminds people that libsocs are not the same as anarchists. I think more people need to realise that and stop treating them as the same.

As recently they're trying to bring some rivalry by pushing aside individualist anarchists and calling for social anarchists to join them. I have seen leninists do the same. I dislike the use of the term parasite which is something a leninist would say. The recent attacks on anarchists really shows that there need to be more understanding to people of the difference.

While anarchism can be considered part of libertarian socialism, it is not the same as others. Anarchists tend to oppose all authority. While other lib socs are against the state, they may support some types of authority as in majority rule for example.

It's mainly communalist types I am seeing pushing this view because they read Bookchin who had attacked anarchism. Yet we aren't defending our ideas? We just accept what a man who renounced anarchism says? That's what I am seeing with anarchists retweeting these posts while calling people larpers if they don't accept democracy as a system to run society.

I have already been critical of anarchists who buddy up with leninists while their buddies attack anarchism and they either say nothing or agree with them. I feel that way with libsocs who are bashing anarchism and anarchists nodding in agreement.

Another thing I saw was some libsocs saying the prisons were great and that really rubbed me the wrong way. I don't like any authority and people not being critical of it while calling themselves anarchists is a problem. The way some people see anarchism is just without the state and are willing to overlook other types of authority.
