@kfury @ben This is a very strong point! I wonder if there are examples in some of the other places that foreign investment is not allowed (like domestic transportation).

@ben @evan Thinking about whether algorithmic bias is as dangerous in the hands of a domestic media company or individual as it is in the hands of a foreign power, I feel it’s the same as foreign contributions to domestic political campaigns, and while we allow domestic dark money contributions, they have shown to have the same levels of influence against the public good as any foreign contribution could.
