The IRS is rolling out direct file in Florida, New Hampshire, Nevada, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wyoming, Arizona, Massachusetts, California and New York.

It only works if you're a W-2 employee, though (Uber drivers are excluded), and it can't handle insurance purchased through the ACA exchanges. There are other limitations.
