@icedquinn I just feel so distracted from one thing or another when I should be writing. I need to get back into the zone.

@sim so write stuff and put the little double dot notes in for things to look up later and move on

@icedquinn Well, I just feel knocked off balance right now. I use the internet for things like research... but one can get too distracted in that even.

@icedquinn Interesting. I haven't heard of that one before I think. I'm looking at some other things now which are interesting I guess.

@sim most of those are basically just about outlining and then filling out the outline and leaving writers notes vs. context switching. scenes being a composite of changes in human values. scene/response patterns.
james patterson's masterclass talked about leaving notes in a scene if you "have to be there" and also not to technobabble bullshit your audience (because it will alienate anybody who actually knows the thing you are bullshitting.)
most creative things though pretty much just come down to doing a full iteration and moving on though. you don't really learn by not writing scenes or not composing loops. you progress by writing a bad scene and drafting it again later.

@icedquinn I could probably do with some more classes while writing this. Thinking of making what I am doing here its own thing.
