The passage of Proposition 12 means sows must have at least 24 square feet of space per animal if hog outlets wish to sell pork to #California. This opens up opportunities for smaller producers to get into the market. The Biden Administration is wrong to fight this. We need more competition, not less. https://missouriindependent.com/2024/03/11/with-californias-prop-12-now-law-pork-producers-adapt-while-lobbying-groups-continue-to-fight/?emci=695f8822-e0de-ee11-85fb-002248223794&emdi=f9f2707c-96df-ee11-85fb-002248223794&ceid=136240
