   The passage of Proposition 12 means sows must have at least 24 square feet of space per animal if hog outlets wish to sell pork to #California. This opens up opportunities for smaller producers to get into the market. The Biden Administration is wrong to fight this.      @abreaction @RealJournalism Cities need to convert old factories into vertical farms. It will put some of the unemployed to work. It will make the cities independent of the grocery conglomerates and unregulated overseas agricultural products.

     Good point. Most farms are "megafarms" now run by huge corporations. Competition breaks up these monopolies.
