   The state of the Union address is how people think elections work.

   The state of voter turnout is how they actually work.

   Today didn't change voter turnout, in swing districts, in swing states. So it changed nothing.

     Dems wouldn’t lose a single white vote by prominently endorsing and fighting for the issues that most concern Black Americans (They were never getting those shitty people anyway) and fighting tooth & nail against the absolute bullshit voter suppression, and outright disenfranchisement, that is the ONLY policy position of the Republican Party is the shortest path to victory.
