My choice is Authoritarianism — it's amazing how men and women are easily convinced they should fight each other instead of realizing that in this system no one has rights, and first they should work together at least to change that.- kaia likes this.

up keep of "rights" is motivated by various emotions, not just negative and not just fear of learned consequences, but also positive ones, like trust in bartering (which is strongly built in the human brain in most), family related emotions (help the group, evolutionarily beneficial behavior), and probably others too. It's a combination of all of these in a healthy community, with some black and a lotta white (sum = gray)
One may also forfeit the right fully or partially, similarly motivated by any of the aforementioned positive and negative sampleskaia likes this.
