The 25lb weights are working, I have a hard time with them, but the biceps are sore as they should
However it's been hurting my wrist, as they also have to put a lot more effort. I wonder if that's just gonna strengthen them or am I just hurting myself

Muscle soreness is normal but your wrists shouldn't hurt. Why are you only lifting 25 lb weights?

Like in bicep curls? I can, but I don't really go for upper body. I'm not making fun of you, I was just asking, the important thing is that you're improving yourself.

There are a ton of free resources to show you proper form, you should actually look into it because preventing injury is a very important part of fitness.
