     The @mayfirst finances are in a much stronger place than past years thanks to changes to the dues structure that we passed last year. This expects members to pay dues that better reflect their resource usage.

     We are also in the process of changing the @mayfirst backend infrastructure. This will shift from relying on a series of distinct servers toward a cluster of networked servers managed together. The new system will be better equipped for managing variable usage and addressing DDoS attacks.

     I just want to conclude by sharing how beautiful it is to see governance taking place in this radical, bilingual, deeply grounded digital cooperative.      Yep 💚 MayFirst are so good at this, it's an education. Their jitsi space works really well for this kind of gathering too. Glad to know that they are financially strong. But also. . . requesting members to continue to recruit more members
