The only difference between Project 2025 today and the Mandate for Leadership bromides of the 1980's is that they simply switched out "homosexuals and feminists" back then with "transgender" today as their choice of pinata target to highlight.

The point being is that peeps who are now acting so surprised that these joker Nazis exist forgot that they have been pushing this fascist bullshit for the better part of 50 years, and folks on the Left and Indy Left have been sounding klaxxons and alarms louder than LRADs about them for the better part of that time.

Send that memo to the leadership of the Democrats. They are the ones who are selling their party out to the same donors who are also funding the antitrans pogrom. They are the ones who are pushing Biden as the only solution while he panders to those who are running the antitrans pogrom to pass reactionary legislation and push funds and weapons to Israel's genocide.

@AnthonyJK @AnarchoNinaAnalyzes And yet I am hearing a lot of people on the left saying they won't help to beat the GOP, because the Democrats suck and Biden sucks and it makes no difference. It is true that Biden sucks in many ways, and I am outraged by what is going on in Gaza, but he has to win to prevent the pogrom. If we get project 2025 and even more fascist judges, it is all over: they want to eliminate trans people and push all gay/lesbian people underground.

They are the ones who are responding with insults and lectures to those of us who warned them countlessly that "centrism" would lead them to disaster.
And, they are the ones who are always mocking those of us trapped in "red" states who don't have the privilege of escaping to their palaces and laughing from afar while we get our asses kicked.
