   bought cheap white gloves on Amazon. they sent "inspection gloves". I'm unsure what you inspect with white gloves

     @kaia It's a military thing, I think. An instructor or superior would come up wearing white gloves, run their fingers on something you were supposed to clean and if the glove is anything less than spotless white after then you fucked up.

     @kaia@brotka.st it's a thing. A "white glove inspection" is when someone puts on white cloth/linen gloves on and runs their hand over a piece of furniture or part. The concept being any detritus would soil the glove and be readily apparent to the wearer/inspector.
