I do not want to believe that Apple will get away with this.

Why would EU citizen rights (the right is to *install* Apps, the right to *use* is none of Apple’s business) end when they leave the EU for some time?

Even worse: The EU law is to allow fair markets for European companies. Why should it be allowed for Apple to sell products to non-EU-citizens but is not for European companies?
