     I don't think it is only a little depressing.

     Humankind seems mentally singularly I'll equipped to face #ClimateChange.

     On the one hand, it probably is collectively less apt to discern gradual, decades-long changes.

     On the other hand, the collective egotism as exemplified, for instance, by the #Swiss restaurant and hotel lobby in the article: as the resorts are forecast to be relatively snow-proof until 2100 ,...

     Similarly, it is true for other European voters, like the #Dutch or the #Germans.

     The article gives the impression that only #Switzerland's direct democracy leads to an acceptable(?) outcome regarding the environment.

     However, as can be seen by #Putler and #KimJongUn and the #WarInUkraine, they are the worst option with regard to saving our biosphere.
