     @youronlyone yes but they are completely unrelated. Mastodon is a microblogging service while facebook is not.

     @grin Ahh! It is Instagram's answer to X/Twitter.

     Threads is currently testing ActivityPub/Fediverse support. Many if their devs, and some personalities like @timothyjchambers ( @tchambers ) already have it activated.

     As per Instagram's CEO, the Fediverse feature will be opt-in for Threads accounts. We'll probably see less than half of Threads community in the #fediverse.

     @youronlyone "what's threads"... I'm not even sure it exists in Europe. But yeah, it is, in theory. In practice I never heard anyone using it.
