Just stumbled into a Linux gaming discussion where a guy had the *audacity* to say they’ve recently tried many flavors of Linux but can’t find one where all the games they want to play just work.
Predictably, every reply was:
“Well the selection of games *I* play on Linux work great with my unique hardware & software variables, so gaming on Linux is perfect for everyone and you know what you’re talking about."
And you wonder why people go back to Windows. Sometimes it’s the “community.”

@pikachu_sensei Thank you. That's a refreshing way to look at things and I’m surprised it’s not more common among Linux enthusiasts, who typically pride themselves on freedom of choice… unless you want to use something other than Linux…

@killyourfm Use whatever works. I just don't bother with asking anyone to use Linux, unless it would benefit them or solve their problem. And it should not break everything else for them. I used to use Windows 10 and I used it until it started causing problems that I can't solve and finally switched to Linux.

@killyourfm In the same vein I also have an issue with people who misrepresent how many games do work. You'll see people who have never touched Linux or used it 5 years ago who still think that basically nothing works. Both extremes are harmful to the conversation
