I felt sorry for Yuzu till I heard about the Patreon. People historically made emulators for the prestige. You don't actually get to make a living infringing copyrights. I don't understand how Patreon hasn't been sued into oblivion yet by hundreds of angry rights holders

Patreon has been a disaster for emulator development. Modern emulators aren't made to accurately emulate hardware anymore. All that matters is whether or not it can play the most popular games a system has at 4k 60fps. Everything else be damned.
And of course they lock that shit behind a paywall for months because script kiddies will pay $5 a month from their moms credit card to play BoTW on their gaming PCs.
