   I don't know that I need to upgrade my M1 2021 MBP, but if I do - I'm not sure, why the air wouldn't be sufficient for my needs. i.e. - do I really need a Pro

     @dimsumthinking My principle has always been to get a moderately high-end machine and use it longer (usually 4-6 years). Ends up over its lifetime being approximately as cheap and approximately as performant relative to the norm on average, and it’s better for the environment.
