   There’s a needle to thread here of “Biden is utterly botching Gaza and he needs a fire lit under him” and also “If/when what’s realistically on the table is a contest between Biden and Trump, we go to the mat for Biden” — and I don’t think many people here would disagree with either of those statements, yet somehow the whole anti-fascist spectrum is just doing a miserable job of threading that needle right now.

     I get it. I understand about the ratchet system. I understand that it's a choice between a slow slide to the right and a faster slider to the right.

     But the lesser of two evils is still less evil. Buying a little more time to find a solution is better than doing nothing. Driving friends and followers to apathetic despair so they stay home on election day only makes a better future harder to achieve.
