   @yukijoou This is something I've also greatly enjoyed about Japanese. It's actually a bit of a challenge as a Japanese learner to let go of previous grammatical expectations and accept you really can do that much without complex grammar.

     honestly, for how complex it looks on the outside, japanese grammar is dead simple. they offload a lot of it to vocabulary though, but that tends to be easier to learn i feel like
     
     as a french native, i'm just glad i don't have to learn how some 25 tenses behave with 3 verb groups, and the bajillion exceptions there are for each
     
     like, they have i believe ~3 verbs that don't always fit in the 2 groups all other uses. simple!
