@meduza_en Reminds me of a scene from Ann Leckies Ancillary series, where people are forming a queue to the government office (even though it's a sci-fi world where basically all business could be done online, and what wasn't they could make an appointment for) as a very low-intensity form of protest - basically the only form available in the dictatorship in question.
