@zoe One year the service engineer (who does a little video under the car) actually tried to tell me I needed an oil change. This did not go down well and led to an ‘I want to speak to the manager’ event.

  Booked Olga’s first service this morning. Two years of servicing come free with the lease. The first service on an EV essentially involves changing the pollen filter, topping up the screen wash, reading the computer report, kicking the tyres and giving her a nice valet. The longest part of that is the valet. No wonder the car trade is frightened of EVs.
