you, as a government, need to make available all vaccinations to all. no means testing. no insurance coverage.
it would mean, you believe health care is a human right. that medical care should be readily available to all. that health is not a matter of accounting. that eugenics have no place in public policy. that the health of all comes before the profit of the few.

our government supports eugenics at home by gaslighting us about #COVID19 and denying us universal health care.
our government also supports #genocide, speaking with forked tongues about #ceasefire while still selling ammunition to those fascist committing genocide "over there".
those two have one common denominator, and that's not a coincidence.

Ummm....I am guessing that Liza is NOT calling for vaccines to be issued coercely to those who don't need them or who aren't directly prescribed to them by their doctors.
But...why not? If a healthy person wanted additional protection against all kinds of predatory viruses, why shouldn't he/she get such protection?
But yeah, she's dead on. Get the profit motive and price gouging out of medicine, and give us universal healthcare.

@blogdiva 'all vaccinations'? Like.. Which? How often? Rabies? That's an expensive one... For something most people will never be exposed to..
Several others.. For completely healthy people? That's expensive.. Whay would you -not- do, in order to pay for that? It's all about opportunity cost.
Laissez faire, nah. But thankfully there's medical experts making smarter decisions than this take.

Sorry, but that still doesn't justify either price gouging or the idea that some essential vaccines should be given out for free, or at least have their production costs covered enough to be offered at low cost.
We have enough scarcity as it is with our current system, and it is way more expensive as well.

@AnthonyJK @blogdiva Because when you use for example an RNA reactor for vaccines you can't use it for something else. And a nurse that is injecting somebody with a vaccine can't be treating another patient.
The reason things cost money is not 'just' for profit, or 'just' for fun, it's because resources are fundamentally limited.
When you decide which groups get which vaccines for free, you make a medical trade off, not an ideological one.
