Anyway look, you don't need to learn all the different types of fascism. What you need to understand is that if they're "socially conservative" no matter what else they claim to be about, they're all ultimately plugged into the same fascist program. The fringe adherents will eventually find themselves on the chopping block, but that won't matter because by the time that happens, it already means the fascists are in full control. In the meantime, they'll use their fringe against you.

Most of them have enough in common with the fash that should an overtly eliminationist movement seize power, they will be able to integrate with it quite easily - and many of them will. It's easy if you believe in nothing but getting paid.
That is however, once again, about the "after" time, once fascists have total control.

AnarchoNinaWrites (anarchoninawrites@jorts.horse)'s status on Friday, 01-Mar-2024 19:11:43 JST AnarchoNinaWrites I know this is complicated, but not really. You can easily reduce it down to understanding what fascism is, and how it happens. The same as a bird, is a bird, no matter how multi-colored its plumage. But unfortunately if your education of what fascism is consists of "funny uniforms and moustache" and your idea of how it happens is "weird little man cast a magic spell over the whole nation" you are not prepared for what it looks like, how it happens, in reality.

AnarchoNinaWrites (anarchoninawrites@jorts.horse)'s status on Friday, 01-Mar-2024 19:11:49 JST AnarchoNinaWrites It's hard, because most of us are taught an understanding of fascism that ultimately only prepares us for what the end of the story looks like, thousands of nazis in matching uniforms, waving flags and shouting in unison. And you are taught this because if you actually knew what fascism looked like, you might notice that there are a lot of fascists in your society, and many of them are quite rich and powerful. You might notice your own society has adopted rather a lot of fascist ideas for money

So if you're going to be sold reactionary politics and alliances with guys like Franco, right after the war to topple Hitler, it requires teaching a streamlined definition of fascism that somehow precludes all the fascists we're friends with and emulate here in the West.

Most people are just thought about the aesthetic and surface level.
If it comes rightly dressed its always welcomed and any accustion is seen as hyperbole.
