   I took this photo in my hometown (Lara, Australia) last year, & it popped up on a random slideshow shuffle just now.

   I'd been on a long pokemon walk that day, and saw a flock of ibises in the wetlands park. They took flight as I approached.

   I've never really tried to get good at photography, but I still sometimes photograph things that catch my attention.

   This photo makes me grateful for my hometown & my luck in being raised there.

     It doesn't have the same character these days. it's way bigger than it was 50 years ago, for a start.

     But my mum still lives there and it feels like a comfortable, easy place to be.
