     @drdirtbag @timbray Text generation is just not it ;)

     I use it to clean audio, create transcripts from video/audio, do image preprocessing and eliminate the blank page syndrome.

     There are also medical applications like the classification of images where it scores better than humans.

     Tons of useful use cases.

     But to cram AI into everything is just dumb imho.

     @timbray Amen! What I’m wondering is what beneficial thing smart people do with all the GPUs lying around like Aeron chairs after the dot-com boom. What needs a lot of fast linear algebra? Drug design? Some other kind of physical simulation?
