     @mk @animeirl @mangeurdenuage depends on the relationship. imo, and if living in the system, one spouse should be the safety net and the other the risk taker. this way you kinda diversify your future, like investing half your portfolio in bonds and the other half in equities.

     mind you, this is if one's family is fully in the system. outside the system, this does not apply

     i'm telling you there's no upside (only downside) for men to be in marriges TODAY (was different in the patriarchal-past).

     if you disagree, name one thing to men get from marriages that they do not get outside of marriages.
