Kay, I did tell you "if you lose Michigan, Biden is cooked" right?

Do you realize as many as 150,000 people just told you to get on yer fucking bike? Do you have ANY IDEA how bad that is for Biden's campaign?

Real talk, get your shit together or you're gonna be the guy who lost EVERYTHING to the fascist. And no libs, I don't want to hear how it's not Biden's fault. This is ABSOLUTELY happening because Biden ignored his own base in my home state. It was predictable and these people ARE serious.

Wish I had the same optimism, Ms. Nina, but my senses sense a different take:

None of this will change Biden's lurch to the Right; in fact, Corporate will still spin this as "Biden massively beats back noncommitted effort, wins Michigan primary by bigger landslide than Obama"; and the pressure on liberal critics to bend the knee and succumb to "I hate Biden, but gotta vote for him anyway because Trump BAD".

And that effectively rewards Biden's rightward lurch.

And even if Biden loses Michigan and thusly the election, all the old scapegoating of the Left and the marginalized will turn into a tsunami.

But, if Biden wins, he's still going to tack hard to the Right anyway because that's where his donors and the newly adjusted base Democrat voters (after they purge more of the Left) want him.

      Either way, we get hosed.

OK...bad word there. Maybe my own pessimism is leaking through, or maybe it's my analysis on past history and living through other political riggings. VMMV, of course.

@AnthonyJK I'm not sure where you got the idea that I was optimistic; I'm just talking about cause and effect. If he ignores this, then folks better start fleeing the country. If Trump takes Michigan, shit gets heavy, very quickly.

@AnthonyJK The problem here is that he will likely lose. Pressuring people to vote for Biden can work to an extent, but even a relatively small part of the ~150k not relenting to the pressure (not to mention people who are bothered by this, but didn’t participate in the primary) can swing an election against him, the margins simply aren’t that big. However this is spun, if people around Biden care about winning, they have to be real sweaty right now. @AnarchoNinaWrites
