     Oh, bleep, are we having this "anonymity breeds harassment, so we gotta self-doxx ourselves" debate again? Really?

     Forget about the mass doxxing potential against sex workers, Leftists, marginalized crowdfunders, and others....does using your actual government name really protect you from getting harassed, especially if the harasser is wealthy enough and powerful enough to escape accountability?

     Like, I been trying to figure out if this is an op or these are just the worst fucking people alive, and I've been erring on the side of "dogshit" but you probably couldn't DESIGN a better way to get trans people run off the network, targeted and harmed if you tried. At some point I'm going to have to consider the possibility that it's both dipshittery AND intentional malice.

     It's almost as if these suckas really do want to convert the Fediverse into their own personal playground and do the job of censorship that they couldn't do on the other apps because they didn't have the power. Don't they see what "no anonymity" is doing at Meta/Threads? Is that what they want the Fedi to become?
