On the same day the #wikipediafr poll asking how they should deadname trans people closes, poll which saw contributors (including long time established ones) banned for "infringement of well-behaving rules" (calling out transphobia) or POV pushing (calling out transphobia), multiple edits are suddenly being made on the Wikipedia page of Elliot Page to change mentions of him as an "actor" (male noun in french) to a "celebrity" (female noun in french), allowing for multiple grammatical gender markers to be switched from male to female, despite the fact that they describe Elliot.

EDIT: some editors also attempted to add pre-transition photos of him to the article as well. This comes at an especially bad time as the official @wikipedia_fr account highlighted the article today (in what was likely a post scheduled a while back, but definitely should have been retracted considering the tension in the room)
