   Need someone to explain to me if there are any meaningful differences between arch, manjaro, and artix. I know manjaro used to be the "it's arch but with a gui installer" but now that arch has that as an option, I have no clue anymore

     Manjaro claims to have a more stable and tested repository than arch. Also, if you're using multiple window managers, majaro will automatically setup / shutdown the various services involved as needed, for example, if you're using i3wm and plasma on the same box, kwin doesn't run if you login to i3.

     @veff noted. going with artix for now since i have the iso on a usb already. this seems like the sort of thing i'll be heavily opinionated on in like 2 years time, but if theres no difference for the average user i'll take your word on it in the meantime

     @merchantHelios used manjaro for a while but arch has come a ways to make it irrelevant. artix is for spergs who hate systemd (yes I know the reasoning why, I don't disagree but you're still a sperg)

     @veff right i got that much (enough to where im not really considering using manjaro), but is there meaningful difference between arch and artix if i'm not a sperg about systemd (i also know the reasoning, but i only care if it will actually effect performance of everyday tasks + games)
