     @allison @Arcana @mischievoustomato oh yeah Scotland has a dark recent history when it comes to insane asylums and treatment of the mad.
     The shit they were pulling in Gartnavel Hospital in the 70s and before that inspired R.D. Laing (Iwakura Lain's namesake) to write on it.
     
     ... They were essentially universally locking up the mad, the homeless, criminals & addicts & immigrants and putting them into (often permanent) barbituate induced comas
