I guess @taylorlorenz's theory was “Don’t platform fascists unless you’re pretty sure they’ll expose themselves as malignant idiots.” I think simple theories are better, as in “Don’t platform fascists.”

@timbray @inventor @taylorlorenz Exactly. The fact that some may misuse the term doesn't alter the fact that actual #fascists exist -- e.g. #LibsOfTikTok. And "Don't platform fascists" is useful advice that @taylorlorenz shouldn't need to be told.

Meh... Everyone is "fascist" nowadays. It lost its meaning.
Currently it means "someone I don't like".
Point to anyone "not fascist", I will show you how many times that person was accused of being "a fascist".
