   been to my new place ,works just started on an access track as it had no road access and the house roofs been covered to protect it until its re thatched ,the steading (outbuilding) is busy getting a tempory roof as that also has to be thatched ,the view from the land behind the steading towards the sea and me in front of the house for size,the house is a traditonal white house,built around 1810 or so ,now houses usually get dormers and a modern tiled roof

     @Helengraham where are you? I thought you were in Orkney, but I see the offshore wind farm, and it has me wondering.
