@carnage4life This is the seed corn thing you've mentioned. If we can make websites easily with AI, it isn't as though we've "solved code". It's just a graduation to a different build target. From websites to the things that make them. Who does he imagine will be making the AI in 20 years if kids don't learn to code now?

He argues the rise of AI means we can replace programming languages with human language prompts thus enabling everyone to be a programmer.
I’m of 2 minds here. On one hand the fact programmers are highly paid is a bug corporations will try to fix with automation even if the end result is lower quality.
OTOH imagine the possibilities if you didn’t need to know React to make apps
