Pearl Jam just lost my money, and honestly most of my loyalty. This is absolutely ridiculous.

My Foo Fighters ticket cost a full $300 less for about the same location — and I considered THAT just above what I’m comfortable paying for even my favorite band.

@jonoabroad it’s not. That is Sacramento, California.

@killyourfm wow, that’s worse than Eagles prices. Plus I thought Pearl Jam was the band that was fighting for reasonable prices all those years.

@laydros They WERE that band in the 90s. It's disappointing to say the least.

@jake4480 I paid $160 to see Foo Fighters later this year in roughly the same seating area — and THAT is about the edge of my comfort zone for concert prices even for my favorite band. Yea, I’d becoming egregious.

@killyourfm yeah, this is nuts. It's everywhere now. My sister paid for our Aerosmith tickets many years ago so I'd drive, they were $75 and that felt like a lot in the 2000s. We saw Britney's last Vegas show in 2017 and it was $150 each. Decent seats. It's getting bad

@cory @jake4480 Oh those sound like incredible experiences! I was fortunate enough to see Foo Fighters twice at Pula Arena in Croatia. It was honestly life-changing.

@jake4480 @killyourfm I saw them at Outside Lands years ago, they were killer. Saw Dave and Taylor play on Hollywood Blvd. for Jimmy Kimmel during the Sound City stuff too.

@killyourfm Foo are great! Saw them twice in the 90s haha. What a band. Great price for them though, under $200? That's a steal for today haha. Messed up 🤣

@jake4480 @cory I cried during that first memorial show that was streamed live. I can’t comprehend the staggering sadness of losing two close friends as he did with Kurt and Taylor — and then losing your mother shortly after Taylor passed away.

Their new album is still challenging to listen to because you can feel the emotion so heavily. But yes, I’m grateful Dave’s undying love for music carries him forward.

@cory @killyourfm oh rad. Taylor is so missed. What a guy. Love Dave's new hand tat heheh. Was wondering/hoping he'd keep going. Taylor probably would've wanted it. Saw a video of the memorial show, it was so great
