   Cached US Kindle giveaway: 10 copies of Terry Pratchett's Guards! Guards!, the first City Watch books. As such this book introduces a *lot* of elements -- Vimes, Carrot, Lady Sybil, Vetinari the Patrician, and did I mention Carrot? This isn't one of my favorite books -- it's right at the stage where pterry was doing a lot of humor for humor sake, and that never particlarly appealed to me -- but lots of other people disagree, and they're probably right.
