   large part of the value of art and film, is the question of what the creator was conveying in their work, and often that is a complex tapestry for the viewer to ponder.

   The consideration of huh did this frame in the film intend to mean this, it feels the painter frame the scene in this way to draw my eye directly to the skull, we pick up on details and are forever in relation to art with "is this intentional, a lucky accident of unintentional that became intentional, or is it just my own reading of it that means the art speaks to me on another level".

   All of that does not exist for ai output. There is absolute certainty in the viewer that the ai had no intention behind anything. It is bereft of meaning except "this is meaningless noise meant to stand in for skill which costs money"

     it literally lacks the human soul that is necessary for art to fascinate and thats quickly apparent to anyone with a soul so when someone claims to love ai output and shout from the rooftops that its going to replace art because its better and faster, its just supremely embarrassing.

     Like its not just sad that you think its good this is going to replace human art, or force workload for working artists to be run through adobes whatever ai machine so they can make 300 designs an hour instead of 20 and crushing them further into paste, its just sad you cant tell its meaningless shit.

     @siege yeppppp, it’s already happening, a coworker has used chatgpt for phrases to incorporate into graphics earlier this week he was make fake child models via AI for a presentation 🫠 they did have a human amount of fingers and limbs at least
