naskya::dev (dev@post.naskya.net)'s status on Friday, 23-Feb-2024 03:37:18 JST naskya::dev @c@misskey.gothloli.club I also have multiple YubiKeys, and one of them just broke. At the end of the day, it's just an electrical device, so it's not very surprising.
I used YubiKey mainly for 2FA, but now that I bought Nitrokeys, I think I'm gonna migrate to them and also try to load PGP keys onto them (yeah I know it's possible with YubiKeys as well, I just haven't tried it) -

コルセット姫@がんばらない (c@misskey.gothloli.club)'s status on Friday, 23-Feb-2024 06:05:17 JST コルセット姫@がんばらない @dev@post.naskya.net i mainly use if for gpg(most for ssh) and fido2 probably no issue. but the TOTP only have 32 slot is a big down vote, have to use authenticator app to store all my 2fa :(
for me YubiKey seems more reliable due to weather sealing, i sanitize them with alcohol or bleach multiple times and still working lol
not sure about nitrokey but for yubikey you can set nfc otp output with some extra string, good for build some web authentication that put otp in url (like secure dynamic check in rather than scan static qr code)naskya::dev likes this.
